Cathodic Protection
TESTING CAPABILITIES
Investigating Cathodic Protection
Cathodic protection systems are installed to protect structures from corrosion. These systems are either impressed current, or galvanic (sacrificial anode), which preferentially corrode to protect structures such as buried pipes, tanks, or other submerged structures.
Testlabs International performs cathodic protection system inspections at the time of installation and new building construction. We also conduct periodic cathodic protection inspections to ensure that the system is working correctly. The inspections are a cost-effective preventive maintenance solution and help stop unscheduled shutdowns, premature remediation or replacement, and environmental catastrophes.
